My mom used to do these for us when we were kids. I didn’t just want to hand him the tickets, so I decided to do a little birthday scavenger hunt action. There's a total of 4 clues, each leading to a different location and respective piece of the Stormshatter.Andy’s birthday is November 7th, and I got him tickets to a show that played in Austin on Oct. To make the search more complicated, the quest would only start if the player was flying or walking very close to the chest, triggering the quest, and the chest itself was rather small and, in some cases, would blend with the background. Often times, players would list "Tips" to help other find the location without spoiling it right away though, due to the (supposed) 1-Week cooldown between clues, players would go on a literal Scavenger Hunt, filling the servers and potentially causing Server Call Outs for those who had a lesser strong device or, in worse cases, glitch the progress and make it impossible to progress. Admins would release hints on official social accounts like Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr (now out of use) and School of Dragons Forum, each representing a riddle that would lead to the location of the quest. Each piece had to be found in order, meaning if you only found the 1st piece, you couldn't progress right away to the 3rd piece, you had to find the 2nd piece first and then the 3rd one. This gave enough time for players to get the required pieces. The Event was supposed to run for 4 weeks, but suffered two delays and ended in October 1st. In this Event, players had to solve riddles/clues that would be given week after week in order to find the location of each piece of the Stormshatter Sword, a Tier 1 Epic Sword - the Event ended in October 1st, 2018 with all of its quests gone except for Eret's Plunder whom got removed at an unknown date. The Stormshatter Event or Scavenger Hunt was the first Live Event introduced in School of Dragons, in June 27th, 2018, v2.13.
